You run away as fast as you can from the guards. You go along the wall for some time before you realise you can probably climb up it. You have a go at it, and are very pleased to find that you can. You wonder whether to find a hole in the eaves, or go in through a window. You do neither. Instead you choose to continue to see what turns up. Presently you come across a window, but to your annoyance it is shut tightly. After a considerable time, you discover a gap between two bricks.

You can't get through as a lizard, so you use a mouse, having read that they can fit through ridiculously small holes. The book wasn't exagerating because you manage easily.

Once inside, you are startled by an unexpected, dazzling light. You find yourself peering down at a most curious object, which bobs about so that you at first think it's a large pink balloon. But you are not left confused for long, because soon a ring of hair becomes visible, and you realise that, after all these years, you're actually looking down upon the bald head of your arch-enemy, General Weikis! In an instant, so quickly that you don't even have time to collect your scattered wits, he sweeps out, slamming the door behind him. Soon after Weikis has left, someone, a guard, enters and begins to search the room.
